Custom Automotive Technician

We’re looking for a skilled Custom Automotive Technician to join our team and contribute to high-quality modifications, performance upgrades and even full restorations. If you’re passionate about custom builds and thrive when working with your hands, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with team members to enhance efficiency and troubleshoot issues.

Maintain accountability and be open to constructive feedback.

Ensure projects stay within budget range while delivering top-tier craftsmanship.

Accurately track time, materials, and resources used for each project.

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

Assist teammates as needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.

Demonstrate and continue to pursue new knowledge of methods, techniques, tools, and materials in automotive restoration.

Follow OSHA safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE (gloves, eyewear, etc.).

Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the shop’s success.

Key Skills

• Proficiency in automotive repair and diagnostics
• Strong electrical system knowledge
• Understanding of OEM & aftermarket carburetor and EFI systems
• Experience with chassis modification and assembly, steering, and suspension
• Drivetrain adjustments and troubleshooting knowledge
• Ability to perform minor fabrication and body panel assembly (a plus but not required)

• Ability to identify problems and recommend process improvements.
• A team-first mentality with a willingness to adapt to new techniques.
• A motivated, self-driven work ethic suited for a fast-paced shop environment.
• May need to provide some basic personal tools for daily tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in the custom car, truck, and/or hot rod industry.

Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving projects.

Apprenticeships/internships are not available at this time.
